Preliminary process – Investigate & Design – Matrix Studio Selection – Finalization of Contract

Preliminary process

Congratulations for your new home! Welcome to your journey with Brick Matrix Homes. We hope that you will find our homes to be a comfortable and desirable place to live. We are committed to providing quality housing and services to our residents. Thank you for choosing Brick Matrix Homes. Let’s take a look at the best plot options and start thinking about the style of your dream home. The first meeting is with one of our experienced sales consultants to collect all the information about the plot and its location including your requirements and expectations. Next, you need to submit a land sales contract that includes a clear copy of the subdivision plan. As evidence of land ownership and financing details for construction. We will create the concept plan that fits best to your needs and aspects of your plot. You will also meet again with your sales consultant to review your paperwork and finalize your exterior wall selections, any floor plan optional upgrades and discuss any other requirements you may have.

Investigate & Design

It is important to investigate the site before making a contract for you to check if any necessary extras need to be done.* (*This is a preliminary Investigation only. Detailed investigation will take place after commencement of work and result may vary from preliminary investigation.) Once the site Investigation finished, We’ll be having a meeting to discuss your brief, which will provide us with an understanding of what you’re looking for. Please bring any drawings, photos, or notes you have about your dream home to our sales team. Even if you don’t have much information about your dream home, a simple description will suffice. Once a rough layout and façade design has been determined, we will arrange another visit for our exclusive studio selection.

Matrix Studio Selection

This is a very fun and hard working part as it includes selecting everything that goes to your house. The decision of what colors to use in your home is one of the most exciting steps, giving you the opportunity to personalize your space in both inside and out. Our Inhouse Selection Centre is a showroom where you work with a professional design consultant to choose the final products for your new home. Your Client Liaison Executive will contact you to schedule a color selection and tender meeting..

Finalization of Contract

This step triggers the beginning of House Construction. Collecting all the data of sites plus all the selections, final contract price will be calculated and a welcoming letter with commencement of work after signing the contract with The Brick Matrix Homes will take place. Now that your contract has been finalized, there are a few steps to take before your new home can be built. Including any necessary permits, loan approval and final construction drawings. We’ll take care of these details for you and explain what’s required.

Post-Contract

Site-Preparation

Cleaning the site and making it ready for the foundation work is the start of the project. At this stage, you will meet your Site Supervisor and he will guide you through the amazing journey of building your dream with bricks.

Foundation

The base stage is the first significant stage in the construction of your new home, during which the concrete slab is laid. Laying a strong foundation is necessary. Our nice team of Engineers and Architects will make sure the right foundation for the site without any compromise so you will not get any headaches later on. You will receive an introductory phone call from your site supervisor who will now be on site for the duration of construction. You are encouraged to inspect this stage by appointment with your construction supervisor.

Framing

With the right structural needs, framing of house will be set in place according to plans and structural specs. Your new home is coming together nicely. Framing Carpenters build the wall frames and the roof trusses. A qualified building surveyor will inspect your framing upon completion, you can also make an appointment with your building supervisor to inspect this stage.

Roofing

Covering the house with our chosen style and type of roof will take us one step further into this journey. All the Electrical and Plumbing rough-ins of the house will be done in this stage.

Enclosed

One significant milestone in your house journey is completing the Enclosing stage. Enclosing the house with the selected cladding, is our next step. Fixing of Windows and Doors will be installed in this stage. So practically, we can lock the house.

Fixing

Once the door is locked from the outside, we can start bringing life to the house from the inside. Plaster is installed to the inside walls and ceilings. You will also see the installation of the baseboards, architraves, interior doors and cabinets in the kitchen, bathroom, bath and powder room (if applicable). You will see the colors you have selected come to life.

Completion

You are nearing the end of the construction process on your new home. At this stage, you will see the painting and tile completed. The electrical and plumbing work is completed, and now the stone bench tops (where applicable), door furniture, shower screens and mirrors can be installed. Your Construction Supervisor will help prepare you for the home presentation and settlement date, which will happen near the end of this stage. A quality assurance inspection is conducted by a dedicated team of quality assurance professionals, and the certificate of occupancy is issued. And practical completion of your house will be done according to the contract and specs.

01. Preliminary Process

Our preliminary process includes planning such as submission of quotes as well as creating a tentative plan. With the right collection of data, our team plans out a well structured strategy aimed at developing the finest real estate

02. Investigate & Design

After collecting the information and planning out, our team works on investigation of the site and offers final tendering to the clients.

03. Interior Design

After the tendering and designing is done, we begin with designing and selecting the interiors of the rest of the house according to the client’s requirements.

04. Contract

When everything is said and looked after, the team focuses on getting the contract done with approval of drawing, council lodgments, order for the products and setting up a construction timeline.

Post Contract Stages

01. Site Prep

The first and foremost step that comes within the post contract stage is prepping up the site for the construction process to be built further.

02. Foundation

Successfully prepping up, the foundation is set and this is considered as the actual beginning of the construction process.

03. Framing

Post the foundation comes the framing, the framing is the stage that includes implementing the designs that have been on paper till now.

04. Roofing

Once the framing is done, the team then moves towards the roofing of the construction.

05. Enclosed

This is the stage where the external wall cladding and roof covering is fixed. Basically, this is the stage that includes the process of structural flooring being laid and the external doors and windows getting fixed (excluding the fixing of soffit linings, the pointing of a tile roof or the scrubbing and final screwing of a metal roof).

06. Fixing

The fixing that is excluded from the above stage is now completed at this stage. The fixing stage involves ‘fixing’ all the internal details into your home. It includes everything such as wall plasters, ceilings, skirting boards, internal doors, stairs, kitchen and room cabinetry. The wet areas of the house will also be waterproofed at this stage. This stage is complete after an approval of the inspection.

07. Completion

And the whole construction is done, the completion is a stage wherein we deliver the whole site fully done to the clients.
